Our Mission: To Grow Disciples of Christ

Dear Prospective Parent for St. Mary’s Parish School,

On behalf of our pastor, Father Joe McDonald, the faculty/staff, and students, I would like to extend a hearty welcome to St. Mary’s Parish School. We are excited that you have come to visit and experience our school community, our way of life. I would like you to come and meet with the teachers, talk with the staff, current parents, School Board members, and students. Please know that we are here to assist and work with you in this most important responsibility you have as parents: the formation/education of your child holistically.

Many different educational systems exist today so making the right decision is so important in setting a lifelong journey of learning. Choosing the right education system for both you and your child is an extremely important decision.

As parents, you are the primary educators of your child, thus, partnering with a school that holds similar values as yours is vitally important for your child to be “at home.” Again, we encourage you to visit our school, ask questions, and feel the energy and enthusiasm of this very special place, anytime.

If the following factors are important to you:

  • A school environment – a community that is infused with faith and moral values
  • A School community where your child is treated as an individual, encouraged to develop his/her gifts and challenged intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually
  • A school community where your child knows s/he is loved, cared for/nurtured, and valued.

St. Mary’s Parish School may be just the right place for your family. Children thrive cognitively, spiritually, and emotionally in an environment where they are loved, cared for and valued. For over 110 years, St. Mary’s Parish School has the vast and rich tradition of faith and academic formation.

We are accredited through the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA). Our sense of community, parent involvement, student engagement, faith formation, and academic achievement were seen as major strengths. We live the Gospel through our daily interactions within and outside our school community.  Our low student to teacher ratios helps students receive individualized instruction and encouragement.

On our website we hope you will find the information that you need. We look forward to talking with you about our school and its mission and providing a much deeper and richer understanding of the importance of a Christ-centered education for your child, as well as the importance of our school in this mission.   Welcome!

Blessings,
Jennifer Beller, Ph.D.
